Celebrate the Opening of Colores de México: Art Exhibition at City Hall!  
Join us on September 13 & 14, 2025, for the vibrant launch of Colores de México, an art exhibition held at Nathan Phillips Square. This event showcases the remarkable work of Mexican-Canadian artists, offering a captivating glimpse into their creative expressions that celebrate the rich tapestry of Mexican culture.

But the festivities don’t stop there! On September 13 & 14, Nathan Phillips Square will come alive with a two-day Mexican Fiesta! Experience the joy of live music, explore the Mercadito featuring diverse food vendors, and discover unique artisanal products. It’s a perfect opportunity for families and friends to immerse themselves in the colorful spirit of Mexico.

Finally, on September 15, savor a culinary adventure at participating restaurants throughout the city! Indulge in delectable dishes that highlight the flavors and traditions of Mexican cuisine. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Get ready for live performances from a dynamic mix of talented artists, featuring:

  • Mariachi magic to lift your spirits.
  • Cumbia and Salsa groups that will get you dancing.
    Norteña and Ranchero bands delivering heart-pounding rhythms.
  • Saul Torres Band bringing the energy of Mexican rock to the stage, and much more.

Whether you’re here to dance, sing, or soak in the music, there’s something for everyone!

Kids can enjoy inflatables, games, crafts, and special activities curated by local organizations. This year, we’ll transform Nathan Phillips Square into a big feria (fair), where friends and strangers can gather to play traditional games like Lotería (Mexican bingo).

Join us in creating the official poster to celebrate Mexican Day Toronto 2025! 🇲🇽

🖌️ Draw an original picture using any colors and technique you prefer!  

Who can participate?  
Kids aged 4 to 16 years living in Canada, no matter where you were born!  

🌼 We’d love to see Mexican elements in your art—think flowers, animals, historical figures, traditional toys or games, landscapes, your favorite food, or anything you adore about Mexico! And feel free to add a Canadian touch too! 🍁

Important Details:  
– You can submit up to 3 drawings.  
– Each drawing must be letter-size (8.5” x 11”).  
– Don’t forget to include your name and age.
